Liang Shi

I am a first-year PhD student at Northeastern University advised by Prof. Yun Raymond Fu.

Previously, I was a master's student at Visual Information Processing and Learning (VIPL) group, a vibrant research collective based at Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, where I worked with Prof. Jie Zhang and Prof. Shiguang Shan. I received my bachelor's degree in Computer Science from University of Chinese Academy of Sciences.

My research interests lie in the field of computer vision. I am primarily focused on face generation, understanding, and forensics. I have a growing interest in vision-language models and generative models, especially their intersection with face-related research.

I am actively looking for internship opportunities for the summer of 2025.
